The Lutz, Webb, Bobo, Eastman & Lee law firm concentrates its practice on representing members of the manufactured housing industry. We are a statewide litigation firm with an emphasis on civil and administrative law. The Tallahassee office practices in the areas of litigation, legislative analysis, administrative rule making, and the regulation of manufactured housing communities and developers before the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and various other state agencies. The Sarasota office also concentrates on litigation and regulation of the manufactured housing industry in addition to providing legal expertise in sales, acquisitions and refinancing, and eviction and collections.

Our firm has in excess of 80 years combined experience in the manufactured housing area.. Four of our five partners maintained individual manufactured housing law practices in competing firms. Recently, these competitors merged their practices to create a department focusing entirely on legal issues affecting the manufactured housing industry. The firm’s depth and experience in this area is unparalleled.

We are engaged in all leg aspects of the manufactured housing industry. From the development and passage of statutes regulating the industry, to the enforcement of these statutes in courts throughout the state, we are involved. Our lawyers have handled in excess of 100 class action proceedings filed by or against community owners concerning Chapter 723 issues. We currently handle approximately 1,000 eviction or abandonment proceedings per year. Our lawyers have filed or revised in excess of 500 prospectuses with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Our real estate department has represented in excess of 100 communities in sales, acquisitions, or refinancings.

Our firm is general counsel to the Florida Manufactured Housing Association, the statewide trade association that is involved in all aspects of manufactured housing in the federal, state and local levels in Florida. As general counsel, our firm has developed an intimate knowledge of the regulations affecting the industry. In dealing with legislative and governmental regulation of this industry for over 20 years, the firm has developed a substantial history in the development of the law and an understanding of its application.

Each of our attorneys specializes in Chapter 723 issues. However, each also pursues a sub-specialty in administrative law, appellate matters, evictions and collections, filings, litigation, arbitration and mediation, lobbying and legislative matters, prospectus filings, and real estate. We also employ seven paralegals who likewise specialize in particular facets of manufactured housing law. Our eviction and collections department employs four paralegals who utilize standard forms and procedures to economically pursue evictions, collections, and abandonments.
